Weekend Reads #9

Hello friends! How has your week been? Last weekend was a long weekend so I had from Friday-Tuesday off work and finally got a chance to hang out with some of my friends! However I’m back at it now and the night shifts are already beginning to take their toll. So this weekends plan is to relax. I want to sit down with a good book and a cup of tea and just relax.

I am currently going through a bit of a tough time with the books I’m reading. My attention span is relatively shit at the moment so I’m kind of touch-and-go with most of my current reads. But without further ado, these are the books I am planning on reading this weekend!

1. A Darker Shade of Magic by V E Schwab. I started this book about a week ago and only made it to the third chapter, but my oh my am I already intrigued. I love Victoria’s writing style and the plot for this one sounds incredibly interesting – so I’d love to get further through this one!

2. The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up by Marie Kondo. Here’s something you might not know about me: I’m big on ‘living light’ and not owning heaps of crap I don’t need. This book is said to be the ‘bible’ for minimalism and I’m very interested in knowing a bit more about Marie Kondo’s methods!

And that’s it! There is a chance I will read more, or less, so feel free to jump over onto my Goodreads and check it out! I’m not going to list the TV shows I’m watching again this week – I’m in a MAJOR tv show slump and I couldn’t name any shows I have intentions of watching! Oops!

What are you reading this weekend? Let me know down below! X
