RYBSAT Round 5!

Another week, another read-a-thon! When I’m posting this it’s Monday morning, which means that RYBSAT (read-your-book-shelf-a-thon) Round 5 has officially begun! For those interested, RYBSAT (@RYBSAT15) is a read-a-thon created by booktuber Miranda (@BooKss101M) where you choose a spot on your bookshelf and read on from there!

This will be the first #RYBSAT I will be participating in, and I’m pretty excited to read as much as I can this week as I have no assignments due for uni!

1. The Assassins Blade by Sarah J. Maas – I can’t believe I still haven’t read this one! I’ve been putting it off for a while now, simply because I didn’t want to not have any of this world to look forward to. But with Sarah’s new book out, and the 4th Throne of Glass book due out in September, I have lots of Sarah coming my way and no reason to put this off any longer!

2. A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas – I was supposed to read this one last week during Bout of Books but never got around too it with required reading and assignments to do. So this week I really hope to pick this one up second!

3. Eona by Alison Goodman – I read the first book (Eon) back in January and never got around to picking up the second for some unknown reason. I’ve been waiting for a perfect time to read this book and since it’s the next on my shelf this seems like it’s it!

4. The Dream Thieves and (potentially) Blue Lily, Lily Blue by Maggie Stiefvater. I was also supposed to pick up this book during Bout of Books however I had to put it away for uni. I really want to catch up on this series soon because I read the first one a few weeks ago and loved it.

5. The Kill Order by James Dashner. This is one of those situations where I can’t bring myself to let go of the world. Also (spoiler ahead) I don’t think I am going to enjoy reading the Maze Runner universe without Newt. Honestly.

That’s what I plan to read this week! Let me know if you’re taking part in RYBSAT, and if you’re not, I highly consider joining in! The hosts are lovely and it looks like a ton of fun! Plus you’ll get lots of reading done 😉
