This Bout of Books read-a-thon marks the 7th I will have participated in! That in itself is an achievement in my eyes, however with essays due left right and centre for University I still am hoping to acomplish a bit more than saying ‘I have technically participated in 7 bout of books read-a-thons! If you’d like to sign up as well, here’s a little bit of info!
The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, May 11th and runs through Sunday, May 17th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 13 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. – From the Bout of Books team
I don’t have a set TBR for myself this time, as I have essays for Uni due. However I do have a few books I want/need to get to soon!
1. Never Let me Go by Zazuo Ishiguro – need to read this one for University by the following week! It would be amazing to get this out of the way early in the week!
2. The Dream Thieves by Maggie Stiefvater – I finished reading The Raven Boys last week and absolutely adored it! Cannot wait to catch up on this series!
3. A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas – This book is due to arrive in the mail sometime on Monday and I really want to read it as soon as possible!
Aside from those three picks, I don’t really plan on reading much more because of study. But I really hope I manage to get through a substantial amount! I also want to attempt to do an update daily/every other day but we’ll see how that goes!
Is anyone else participating in Bout of Books, and if so, what are you planning on reading this week?
